About Me
In the beginning there was sound.
I live and grew up in Wiltshire. Being in nature has always been an important part of my life. Early on I realised when you are at one with nature you can hear and feel nature’s healing resonance - the bird song, the movement of water, the wind dancing with the plants….the silence.
I have been very fortunate to travel, my first trip was a year alone in India, Nepal and Bangladesh. This is when I witnessed sound as a way to enter an altered state of consciousness. In Hindu temples the use of chanting, rattles and drums and in Buddhist monasteries the use of horns and gongs, these moments brought me a sense of presence and peace. Shamans have been using sound for ceremony for thousands of years. I also witnessed the power of silence, the moments of peace in-between the busyness and how vital this is for us.
These experiences were the catalyst for me, after travelling around with instruments for my own practice I knew I wanted to share this with others. To be able to hold space and weave together sounds that can assist people in there healing, this is the greatest honour for me.
